Pieter and Elisa win Wonderfeel prize at International Song Festival Zeist

In 2021, the International Liedfestvial Zeist introduced a new element: the Young Artist Platform. An audition in which six young, talented duos from home and abroad compete for two engagement prizes. Musicians who stand out - for example during our master class or at one of the other festivals or competitions in Europe with which we collaborate - are invited to present a program as original as possible around a newly composed commissioned work for an international jury. The theme of this edition was Future Music. With a program filled with songs by Poulenc, Chausson, Strauss, Bosmans and Wikström, Elisa and Pieter managed to convince the jury and won one of the engagementprizes. They may perform at the Wonderfeelfestival in 2026.
